We pride our program in having the highest quality coaches that are the top teachers of the game in the area.  In all of our regions, our coaching staff represents the top coaches in the area, all with tremendous experience on the field both as players and coaches.

Greg was a two-time All-American at the University of Virginia. He was an All-American Midfielder at Conestoga High School in Pennsylvania. Following the University of Virginia, Coach Traynor played and coached for Boardman & Ecles Lacrosse club in Manchester, England. He was a member of five World Championship Teams:

Greg played professionally from 1997 through 2003 for the Philadelphia Wings, Boston Cannons, Long Island Lizards and New Jersey Pride in Major League Lacrosse and participated in three All-Star Games. Greg was inducted into the Conestoga High Hall of Fame, as well as the Eastern Pennsylvania Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Chris has been playing and coaching lacrosse for twenty years. He grew up in Norwell and played soccer, lacrosse, and ice hockey at Thayer Academy (1993-1997) as a midfielder, where he was a two-year captain. He was selected to the NEILA East/West Game his senior season. Chris started coaching high school in Portsmouth, NH from 2003-2008 where is was instrumental in the growth of their youth program. He coached for three years. In 2008, the PHS varsity team went to the NH State Finals and he was voted NH Div 3 Coach of The Year. He moved back to Norwell, MA in 2009 and coached the High School Boys Lacrosse Team from 2009-2013. He is the Founder and Director of NLAX Lacrosse established in 2009. Chris resides in Norwell with his wife and three children.

Jack Piatelli

Widely regarded as one of the country’s premier teachers of the game, Jack is a 1986 graduate of Springfield College where he was a captain and All-American selection in his senior year, later going on to a successful professional career with the Boston Blazers. Jack has coached at the youth level high school level, college level and professional level. He has 3 kids Julianne, John and Brian who are also players and enthusiasts of the game.

  • Played 5 years in the National Lacrosse League for the Rochester Knighthawks (2nd place 1995 Championships) and Boston Blazers.

  • Falmouth High School – played on 1st varsity lacrosse team on Cape Cod in 1985.

    Boston Kings Lacrosse – Head Coach 2018/19 Teams

    Responsible for the operations of the organization, Brian plays a key role on the Kings Lacrosse Leadership Committee.

    In addition to coaching with the Kings, Brian has served as Defensive Coordinator for the NCAA Division III Massachusetts Maritime Men’s Lacrosse team since 2014. In 2005 he graduated Bowdoin College where he played four years of lacrosse. He played football and lacrosse at Boston College High School, captaining both teams in his senior year. He was the first head coach of the Bridgewater-Raynham Boys’ Lacrosse team and also coached varsity lacrosse for three years at Pembroke High School. After Bowdoin, Brian served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, he is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

    Brian is co-founder and chairman of the Beauhawks Foundation, and is a partner in Optica Sports LLC, a sports technology company.

Bill Daye

In 2012, Bill was named one of Lacrosse Magazine’s Most Twenty Influential Black Figures in Lacrosse History.

Bill served as the Boston Cannons Head Coach for six years; compiling a 43-29 record and leading the Boston to post season play in four of those six years. Bill was the 2011 Major League Lacrosse Championship; the 1st in franchise history.

Bill’s accolades include:

  • 2011 M.L.L. Coach of the Year, also the 1st in franchise history.

  • MLL All-star gameas a coach four times as a coach and once as a player.

  • MLL All-Pro, MLL All-Star, and voted by his teammates as the MVP for the Boston Cannon’s inaugural season.

  • University of North Carolina, NCAA Championship in 1991, NCAA Final Four for 4 times, and won 4 Atlantic Coast Championships

Ryan began his playing career at Mansfield High School where he was a 3X Boston Globe All-Star, 2x Boston Herald All-star, 3x Hockomock League All-Star & Eastern Massachusetts All-Star. Ryan went on to attend Springfield College. He started at attack for the pride from 2010-2014. He was the second leading point scorer in 2013 & 2014. Ryan received a degree in Sport Management. Summer of 2013 Ryan was an intern for Cape Cod Lacrosse. He then joined the Cape Cod Lacrosse staff full time in 2014.

John Klepacki

John Klepacki, who wrapped up his 16th season as the Western New England University men’s lacrosse coach in 2017, is among the top coaches in the nation today. Klepacki has posted an impressive 212-90 career and school mark for a .702 winning percentage, which ranks fifth among active NCAA Division III coaches.

The winningest coach in terms of percentage among all current WNE head coaches, Klepacki has overseen all eight of the Golden Bears’ runs in the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship since 2002. Western New England has won more Commonwealth Coast Conference men’s lacrosse championships (6) than any other program since joining the league in 2008.

In addition to coaching with the Kings & WNE, Coach Klepacki is on the coaching staff of the MLL Boston Cannons.

Dave Quinn

Boston Kings Lacrosse – 2025 Coach, Head Coach 2023

Dave was a 4 year starting attackman for Newton North High School and a 2x captain and 2x All-American. He was also inducted into the Newton North High School Hall of Fame. Dave went on to play lacrosse at Towson University where he was a 3 year starting attackman, team captain, Division 1 All-American, a member of the National Championship Runner Up Team, and he was inducted into the Towson Hall of Fame. Dave currently coaches Scituate Youth Lacrosse. He is the Kindergarten director/coach, the 1st grade director/coach, the 3rd/4th grade director/coach, the 7th and 8th grade skills director and the 8th grade select team coach.
